I liked Akumal

1^st day Akumal, Mexico– Oct. 8^th

I got to go snorkeling with my family. At first we just saw grass. Then we started seeing some fish and a lot of fish were around a big brain coral. We started seeing lots of fish. They were black, yellow, and blue. My dad told me to look down so I did and I saw an eel. The eel was green. It was opening and closing its mouth. The eel scared me. We started coming back out of the water. We started to look for sea turtles. My grandpa found two. We followed one and found a bigger one. I had a great first day.

2^nd day Akumal, Mexico– Oct. 9^th

My family and I went snorkeling at a place called Ya-Kul. Ya-Kul is a lagoon. We had a hard time finding a place to get in the water. There were striped and dotted fish. Also we saw black, blue, and gray fish. At first we just looked, then we tried to catch a fish but we didn’t catch a fish and then we started to touch the fish. Then we got to see a crane bird catch a fish. I liked swimming at Ya-kul.

3^rd day Akumal, Mexico– Oct. 10^th

I went Tulum Ruins, Indian ruins with my family. The first thing I saw were walls that were to protect the important buildings. The walls were crumbled. There were a lot of iguanas. I liked the good ocean wind. There were a lot of pictures on the walls. I liked the tallest building because it looks small in the back and big in the front. We got to see a very big spider. Also on the way back we saw a lizard that had a green body and a brown tail. I had a great time.

4^th day Mexico– Oct. 11^th

I went to the pool with my dad and my sister. At first we just played around and then we did some flips. After my sister and I finished doing flips we went to get something to eat. Then we played tag. I had a great time.

5^th day Mexico- Oct. 12^th

My family and I walked to town. We walked all the way to a store. It was a hot day so we got some ice cream. Then we went to a place that wanted people to protect sea turtles. We learned a lot of facts. I had a great last day.

The new church building

Our church went to the new church building yesterday. We sang songs and after that Uncle Richerd taught us a lesson. After the lesson, we jumped in the jumper, we jumped on the trampoline, and we rode our scooters. Two grownups and a kid jumped on the trampoline it was cool. The kids watched TV at prayer. I had a great time.

I went camping!

I went camping with my cousins. One of my favorite parts was when my cousins and I hiked up to mountains. We caught a frog, a stickbug, and six stinkbugs and we also saw butterflies, grasshoppers, and dragonflies. Next my cousin's dad found two more frogs in a shower. We let the other one go in there. I went to the beach four times. I had a great time.

I went to the beach

My family, my friends ,and I went to Ventura Beach. When we got there, I dug a big hole and made a wall with my friends. Then we wanted to go boogie boarding so we buried the hole and went boogie boarding. After that we went on the zip-line. We played in the sand for the rest of the time at the beach. I had a great time.

I loved vollyball camp

I went to volleyball camp. When we come in, we run around the two inside volleyball courts. Second we get a partner and throw a volleyball to back an forth. Next we do sit ups, push ups, and other things. After that we pick a coach and do passing , setting, and serving. Then we hit balls over the net. Last we get in groups of six and play against other groups.I had a great time at volleyball camp.

I loved VBS!

I went to VBS. My teacher's name was Miss Carver. She was very nice. She gave us a lot of candy. My friend Danny was at my table. VBS did a good play for us and raised money for kids in India. We got very very wet in the water games. Also we got to have a snack. Then we got to hear a bible story. When we were done with that we got to do a craft. Then music, memorizing verses, and prayer. Then we went home. It was only a week long. On the last day we had crazy hair day. Here is a picure of me and Mimi on crazy hair day.

I got to see UP!!!

My family and I got to see UP. There were scary parts and funny parts. I like when the bad guy said "Where are they?" and Russel ,the little boy, rubs against the window. The bad guy wants to get a bird but Russel wanted to protect the bird. He named it Kevin. It was a good movie.

Day two - Petrified wood, Meteor Crater, and New Mexico

My grandparents and I got to see petrified wood. It is wood that is turned into stone. Long ago people blasted the rocks to get crystals and emeralds out. Some of the wood is bigger than me!

We even got to see a meteor crater. It is 4,100 feet long.The meteor vaporized. Also I got to touch a different meteor.

I got to see the border of Arizona and New Mexico. We made it to New Mexico.

Spring Vacation First day in Arizona

My grandparents took me on a trip for a whole week. We drove to Arizona and New Mexico. I got to see the border of California and Arizona. It is a bridge. For lunch we had McDonald's and for dinner we had Cracker Barrel. I got to see Needle Mountain. You can tell why it's called that. It looks very pointy.

I went horse back riding.

I got to ride the older horse because we couldn't ride a fast horse. The lady answered all our questions. We got to ride the horse for a long time. Everyone even Kari got to pet and feed it. I had a fun time.

I'm going on vacation!

I'm very excited to go to Arizona and New Mexico. I heard that I am going to an Indian ruin and a cave. Mimi, Lydia,Kari,and my mom and dad are not coming.It's just me , Gigi,and Boppy.I just can't wait.
